I am so happy with this iPad. Using it as I type! Large screen, easily set up, holds a good charge. Beautiful colors on screen!

I have significant injures & illnesses. I am hospitalized or bedridden often. This is a lifesaver and fantastic upgrade in size from my old iPad! Beautiful color, definition, sound, ultimate in widescreen, and long battery life. Definitely get a folding case protector that stands the iPad up AND charges the Apple Pencil. Also, an extended 2m long cable, Apple Pencil and a new set of ear buds that can optimize the new sound features!
It’s a bit pricey, but all my relatives chipped in for it on my Birthday! I’m a very happy girl…
WARNING:
Be careful when ordering!!!
I ordered the 2- year AppleCare Warranty with my iPad & accessory purchase and without my knowledge, the Amazon Prime system canceled the Warranty part of my order! Trying to get it back has been a total nightmare!!!I Customer Service told me the only way to get the 2-year Extended Warranty was to buy another (same model) iPad, and the Warranty again, wait 10-15 minutes, then cancel the iPad from my order. I got the Warranty, but was shocked when I could not cancel the iPad!!! Then Customer Service said to refuse delivery and I would get my money refunded…in 10 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER AMAZON RECEIVES IT!!!
Then even though the Delivery Driver was instructed by Amazon to securely deliver the iPad to me personally & request a onetime password from mep, and then I could refuse the delivery. BUT NO, the Driver just dumped it on my doorstep without even ringing the doorbell or knocking so I could refuse the delivery. Then he actually lied and indicated on his delivery that he hand delivered it directly to me! Ugh, so back to Customer Service who said I had to start a return and pay $7.95 for Driver Pickup and wait for Amazon to receive it before they will process a return of my money ($1456.03 with tax & CA electronics fee)!
It’s been 7 days, plus we have the 3-day Labor Day weekend and Amazon still hasn’t even tracked it as received by them! If I didn’t have a huge long history with Amazon Prime, I would have cancelled my account and filed Federal & State Agency Complaints and a Civil Suit, that’s how mad I am.
But, in all honesty, Amazon Prime has been very good to me over the years. I love Prime and buy almost everything through them, electronics, groceries, jewelry, clothing, makeup, skin & hair care, home accessories/rugs/linens, holiday & crafting, bulk items, gifting, outdoor furniture/covers/rugs/umbrellas/fire pit/fountain uieven some Contracting tools & replacement parts (my Significant Live-In is a General Contractor).
Plus free delivery, free additional benefits like free music, Audible, Prime movies/cinema/series/podcasts, great pricing on most items, 30 no hassle Return Policy (with this exception…grrrrr!), and excellent Customer Service!
(Note: In my experience with Amazon, you can only get great Customer Service if you use the USA Customer Service Department and not try to get anything done through their Middle-East Country Outsourcing! They are horrible! I was transferred 15 times using their Outsourced Customer Service Chat, and they are uneducated in Amazon Processes & Troubleshooting. If you speak to them by phone it’s even worse. They are not friendly, refuse transferring your call to their Managers, use unprofessional language, and will disconnect your call! They can’t understand American English and it’s difficult to understand them through their heavy accents. They even use made-up words not in the American Dictionary.)
It would be a great plot line for a comedy-documentary if it wasn’t so painful to actually experience it. lol

Coming from a 2018 iPad Pro 11, I wasn’t sure it would be worth an upgrade, but decided to try it anyways after I started doing more photo editing and other more moderate usage tasks. Overall I’ve been extremely happy with my decision and the iPad overall for some of the reasons listed below.
Display:
– way better than I was expecting, even compared to the previous iPad pro. The extra brightness and HDR content on the XDR display is really noticeable (even during daily use), especially if you have a phone or camera that can capture videos in HDR.
– Extra screen space from the 12.9 has been great, though more of a personal preference in that regard
Speakers:
– great as always, no noticeable difference personally
Performance:
– while my 2018 iPad Pro wasn’t experiencing issues with most tasks day to day, this newer m2 pro has been a beast at tackling everything I’ve thrown at it with no noticeable performance impacts or slow downs. Working with an external SSD copying and organizing hundreds of GBs of data at once (managing old family photos, videos, files from years of backups) worked seamlessly, never felt the need to use a full mac/pc to manage things elsewhere.
Software:
– Might be a bit controversial, but I actually think iPads are better for most people for daily use in terms of applications. While you won’t be able to install certain apps that you might want to from the internet, the vast size difference in the App Store between iOS/iPadOS and macOS is staggering. Most any task you want to accomplish (note taking, drawing, photo editing, cooking, etc.) will have a variety of apps that will be solid to use.
Overall I’ve been super impressed with this iPad, and feel confident in saying that for most average users or hobbyists doing multimedia work (photography, video editing, 3D modeling, etc.), this would be the perfect laptop replacement (especially when paired with the Magic Keyboard). While the iPad software still leaves some things to be desired, improvements including stage manager and other features have been more than enough for my use cases for doing all my personal projects since getting it.
While I do love this overall, the price and value you get for it definitely isn’t for everyone. If you’re someone (like my parents) that doesn’t care as much about things like screen refresh rate for smoothness, or can’t tell a difference in screen quality between iPad screens on display at a store, then this might not be for you. My fiancé has an iPad Air that supports the latest Apple Pencil and she loves it for her use case (primarily watching videos, social media, and sketching designs for outfits she’s making).
If you can justify the price hike though, I’m sure this will be an iPad that you’ll be able to use as your main “computer” and love for years to come. I anticipate I’ll be using this for at least another 5 years personally.

I am really happy about my purchase, it’s a gift for my mother in law, there is nothing to complain about it!.
We all have iPads at home and we all love it, they are very useful, great buy
